The Florida Gator commitment train continued rolling on Monday afternoon as Dallas (TX) Skyline Athlete Kylan Johnson flipped his verbal pledge from Kansas State to Florida.
The three star athlete was offered on Friday, visited Florida over the weekend, and committed shortly after Montrell Custis, who also visited Florida this weekend, shunned the Gators for Ole Miss.
Johnson is a versatile player who could compete as a safety or possibly as an outside linebacker at Florida.
He’s another sleeper prospect brought in by former Arkansas linebacker’s coach Randy Shannon as the staff continues to expand their search for suitable recruits to fill in their 2015 recruiting class.
Johnson becomes the 14th commit for the Gators who are hoping to snag a few more before days end.
Stay tuned to Swamp Music for the latest on Florida Gator recruiting as we count down to signing day.
